A resort with long history
According to the documents from the resort’s archives, the first chemical analysis of the mineral waters from Buziaș was carried out in 1805.
As a recognition, Buziaș was the host of the XIII Congress of Physicians and Naturalists of Hungary and Transylvania between August 22 and 26, 1886. Another proof of our resort’s prestige is the visit from the emperor Franz Iosif and the heir to the throne, Prince Franz Ferdinand, in September 1898.
Since 1990, the minereal water resources have been under the administration of S.C. BUZIAȘ SPA TREATMENT S.A. Today, the intensively modernized facilities enables our resort to make the treating of cardiovascular diseases a priority.
